Important Changes to Buzztime Card Games in Oregon

Buzztime's card games will be temporarily suspended in the state of Oregon, effective January 25, 2011. Several of Buzztime's restaurant and bar locations have been instructed by state police officers to turn off the Buzztime card games because, according to the officers, these games are not permitted under Oregon state law.

We have spent the last several months discussing the matter with the State Lottery Commission and state police, but as yet have been unable to come to an understanding with them about these games, which we continue to believe are legal in Oregon.

We hope the suspension will be temporary and will continue to work with state authorities in an effort to resolve the legal issues. When and if we are able to safely resume offering card games in Oregon, we will let you know.
