The Winter Olympics of Buzztime Trivia: The Showdown Throwdown

In the tradition of the best competitions Buzztime has offered over the last 25 years, we are proud to announce the February 2010 Showdown Throwdown tournament! We’ll be placing every Buzztime location in one of six leagues based on their performance in last Summer’s Throwdown Competition, with the league breakdown as follows:

• Premier League: Top 50 Ranked Sites
• Platinum League: Next 100 Ranked Sites
• Gold League: Next 150 Ranked Sites
• Silver League: Next 200 Ranked Sites
• Bronze League: Next 300 Ranked Sites
• Open League: All other sites

To find out what league your location is in, check out the Showdown Throwdown promotion page. The tournament will run every Tuesday in February at 5:30pm PT/8:30pm ET…. And the competition will be fierce!

Now, we know you’re asking “What’s in this for me?” Well, besides the glory of leveling the other teams in your league, winning sites will receive a featured Buzztime ad that will run nationwide, a cooler-than-cool trophy and a slew of Buzztime Swag.
