Everybody's Crazy For the 80s!

Well, as it turns out, we're not the only members of the Buzztime Universe that are wild for the 80s. Beef O'Brady's, a chain of restuarants that offers Buzztime to their guests, hosted a little 80s party at their annual partners retreat and a few lucky members of the Buzztime staff were lucky enough to get an invitation!

The party, with over100 guests in attendance, was all about the flashbacks. Attendees dressed up for the big costume contest as everyone from Charro andthe Bundys of "Married with Children to Rainbow Brite and Magic Johnson. Apparently the guy who dressed up like Run DMC was the most popular, because he went home with the prize.

For the gamers in the group, there was an80s arcade games set up; for the dancers, a dance floor with80s music; and for the John Hughes junkies, there were screenings of some 80s favorites.To document the night, a photo area was set up where you could put on props, take pictures and make a general spectacle of yourself.

The above picture features two of Buzztime's finest -- Christine and Derrick (both to the far right) -- jumping in with both feet and enjoying all the night (and the 80s) had to offer. (Actually Christine -- "black glove girl" -- jumped in with both feet... Derrick aka "white hat boy"... well, we're not really sure what he was going for there but, whatever it was, he gave it 110%!)

After such a stellar night, it's safe to say that Beef O'Bradys knows a thing or two about the 80s, and after a month of 80s trivia, it's safe to say that our players know a thing or 20 about the 80s...proving thatboth our sites and our players are, like, totally awesome... for sure!
